FAQ

Is this real money? No. Everything on Coinlight is simulated. You cannot deposit, withdraw, or lose real money, and virtual balances cannot be converted into anything of value.

Where do prices come from? Live from the Binance.US public API. Simulated trades execute against real bid/ask quotes with a simulated 0.1% fee.

How do I get more virtual cash? Watch a 15-second sponsored break for +$100 virtual (up to 3 per day), or reset your account to $1,000 at any time. The "ad" is currently simulated — nobody is paying us, and nothing tracks you.

Why is the deposit limited? The leaderboard ranks by return %, and unlimited free deposits would make percentages meaningless. Scarcity keeps the competition honest.

What happens when I reset? Your current run is archived (still visible in your history and to your profile's visitors), and a fresh run starts at $1,000. Your best archived run can still appear in the Hall of Fame.

What's public on my profile? Username, display name, join date, trades, current holdings/allocation, followers/following, and leaderboard stats. Anyone can see these, with or without an account.

How do I delete my account? Profile → Settings → Close account, confirm with your username and password. This disables login and removes you from all public pages immediately; records are archived. For permanent erasure of archived records, email us (see Contact).
