By using Coinlight you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. What Coinlight is — and is not

Coinlight is a free simulation game for practicing cryptocurrency trading strategies with virtual money and real market prices. Coinlight is not a broker, exchange, wallet, or financial institution. No real money, real cryptocurrency, or real financial instruments are bought, sold, held, or transferable on Coinlight.

2. Virtual funds have no value

All balances, deposits, profits, and losses on Coinlight are simulated. Virtual funds have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed, withdrawn, transferred, or exchanged for anything of value, and may be adjusted or reset by us at any time (including to fix bugs or abuse). You have no property right in any virtual balance.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old. Provide accurate information and keep your password secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. One account per person. We never ask for your password outside the login form.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use bots, scripts, or automation to register accounts, trade, follow, or scrape data;
• circumvent rate limits or security measures;
• manipulate leaderboards (e.g., coordinated multi-account schemes);
• impersonate others or choose usernames/display names that are unlawful, hateful, or misleading;
• probe, disrupt, or overload the service.

We may suspend, reset, or close accounts that break these rules, at our sole discretion and without notice. (The simulator is free; enforcement keeps it fair for everyone.)

5. Public content

Trading activity on Coinlight is public by design (see the Privacy Policy). Your username, display name, simulated trades, holdings, and performance statistics are visible to anyone.

6. Market data

Price data is sourced from the Binance.US public API and is provided "as is". It may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect, and simulated execution (including the simulated 0.1% fee) does not replicate real exchange conditions. We are not affiliated with Binance.US.

7. No financial advice

Nothing on Coinlight is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. See the Financial Disclaimer, which is part of these terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability

Coinlight is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of (real or virtual) profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use Coinlight — which is zero.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time in Profile → Settings. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (in whole or part) at any time. Sections 2, 8, and 10 survive termination.

10. General

If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms plus the Privacy Policy and Financial Disclaimer are the entire agreement. We may update these terms; material changes take effect when posted with a new effective date.
